Vaginal Rejuvenation

Vaginal Rejuvenation

A woman’s body goes through many changes throughout her lifetime, which include the decline of the vaginal lining due to the slowdown of collagen production. When collagen fibers decrease, the walls in the vagina lose their tautness. Pregnancy, childbirth, age, and genetic disposition can make the laxity more pronounced. At Divine Beauty & Wellness we have the perfect treatment to regain a youthful and health feeling again.

Vaginal Rejuvenation FAQ's

Get Answers to Frequently Asked Questions about our Vaginal Rejuvenation Treatment Below.

  • Is The Procedure Invasive?

It is a much less intrusive procedure than other devices currently on the market for treatment of sexual function.

These treatments are designed to benefit women and improve their health and quality of life. It is a state-of-the-art treatment designed to restore vaginal tightness, and address stress urinary incontinence (SUI) unlike any other device out there.

  • Ho Many Treatments Will I Need?

The Viveve treatment offers a single treatment due to it’s patented cooling that allows for a comfortable and deeper treatment resulting in long-term results versus coming in for multiple treatments.

  • How Does Viveve Work?

The Viveve™ treatment uses clinically-proven cryogen-cooled monopolar radiofrequency (CMRF) to uniformly deliver gentle volumetric heating while cooling delicate surface tissue.  This unique technology stimulates the body’s natural collagen formation process. Because Viveve™ uses tiny pulses of gentle energy, the right amount of heat – for the right amount of time – is delivered to reinvigorate tissue. Unlike the alternatives, this treatment is more comfortable and only requires a single-session for tightening and strengthening internal tissue.

  • What Conditions Can Be Treated?

This laser can address many dermatological conditions and gynecological needs including:

    • Ablation and resurfacing of soft tissue
    • Scar tissue (e.g. C-section scar)
    • Conization of the cervix such as vulvar and vaginal intraepithelial neoplasia (VIN, VAIN)
    • Leukoplakia (vulvar dystrophies)
    • Condyloma acuminate

  • Is It Safe?

    Yes!

C02 technology has been used in gynecology for vulvar and cervical dysplasia for decades.  Compared to traditional surgical methods, C02 technology can provide greater precision and less scarring.

This technology can not only tighten the INTERNAL tissue to improve sexual function and minimize urinary leakage, but it can also tighten EXTERNAL tissue to tighten the labia and improve the aesthetic appearance of the vulva.  Most patients getting treated with C02 laser will need 2-3 treatments for optimal results.

  • What Can I Expect With This Procedure?

Divine assesses each patient’s goals and expectations prior to the procedure and also defines a baseline for your areas of concern.  We will review the systems capabilities and clarify with you the expectations of the treatment.

  • Am I A Good Candidate For This Procedure?

Women who are experiencing vaginal laxity, loss of moisture or stress incontinence due to aging or childbirth can benefit from this procedure.  In addition, any woman desiring to improvise their sexual function or aesthetic appearance of their vagina may also benefit.

It is advised that women who are menstruating wait until after their period for treatment, as increased blood flow in the area and impede the penetration of RF or laser energy. In addition, patients with an automatic implantable cardiovascular/defibrillator (AICD) should not receive this treatment.  A  consultation is the best way to determine if these procedures are right for you.
